The Books R4 Kids web site features reviews and teaching ideas for the most recently published books in children’s and young adult literature.  Each review contains a brief summary of the book, information about the author, reading level, genre, and major themes of the novel. In addition, online resources and media connections have been included, along with practical suggestions for using each book to enhance learning. You will also find links to other literature resources, more about our sponsoring publishers, and contact information for the key players on the Books R4 Kids team.

The vision of the Advisory Board for the Review Room of Children’s and Young Adult Literature at the University of Texas includes a Reading Resource Room housing the most recent books in children’s literature, generously donated by prominent participating publishers. These books will be available to pre-service and in-service teachers.
